The Retirement Security for Life Act Reintroduced in the U.S. Congress
Senators Hillary Clinton (D-NY), Susan Collins (R-ME), Kent Conrad (D-ND), Gordon Smith (R-OR), and Olympia Snowe (R-ME), and Representatives Stephanie Tubbs Jones (D-OH) and Phil English (R-PA) and a host of co-sponsors reintroduced the Retirement Security for Life Act. The bipartisan legislation seeks to provide an incentive that would encourage Americans to invest in retirement vehicles that provide steady income for life, such as lifetime annuities.
